Kid's Musis That Won't Drive Moms Crazy
Good Housekeeping
The children's music market is booming -- but much of the music is a turnoff for parents who must listen, too. However, there's a new album that moms and dads will enjoy right along with their kids. "SUGARBEATS: 21 Really Cool Songs" features children singing lead and back-up vocals on classic rock tunes from the sixties and seventies. Some of the songs are silly, others are serious, and most have a positive message. My personal favorites are "Put a Little Love in Your Heart" and "Everyday People"; my kids love "Wipeout." The album is the creation of Sherry Goffin Kondor, mother of two and daughter of the legendary songwriter Carole King. You'll enjoy listening to songs you loved as a kid.
